Not quite sure what to say about this one…
The situation is just a bit cliched and boring. But the Point of View is interesting.

I think it sounds like a typical first date! I thought it was pretty good, but sounded like a list of things that happened, was that what you wanted to do? If so you hit right on the head.

I read it as sort of a wishful thinking, like this is how you saw the date going and are trying, on some level, to convince her that’s how it went.
