Ch-Ch-Changes (XIX)
When I told the others we were going back ‘tonight’, I meant let’s get ourselves ready, figure out what we might need to bring along (assuming we can bring anything), then figure out how to contact Adrovan.
What I did not mean was, “We’re going to Adrovan’s tower as soon as I finish this sentence.”
But, with a bright flash, there we were. Well, most of us, anyway. Robert seemed to have lots a few inches. Vertically.
“Rexor Ironshield?!” he shouted. “I’m an honest to god freakin’ Dwarf?! Sweet!” He was the same build, but only about 3’4” tall. Unfortunately for him, his build changed, but not his clothes. Fortunately for us, his shirt now came to his knees.
“I think I’ll stick with my adjustments over yours, Rob,” Jaime said from the next room. She walked in, and I think we all had to pop our eyes back in. “Seems Adrovan had a change of clothes waiting for us.”
It was still her, but the outfit did nothing to hide that she was the only female in the group. Or, looking at her ears, the only Elf.
