Eve ran to her room and checked her make-up. Her mom had helped her do it because she didn’t wear it often. She had on her gray skinny jeans and a blue long-sleeve shirt with a white tank underneath. Just then the doorbell rang.

Eve rushed out of her room and downstairs. She took a deep breath and opened the door. “Hey.” She said.
“Hey..” He answerd.

Eve lead the way downstairs. “I rented some movies for us to watch together. Mom’s out. Thought you’d want some us time and get your mind away from.. things.”
Dante smiled. “Thanks.”

They got downstairs and Eve set up the movie. She had lit some candles and gotten blankets out for them. Eve sat right next to Dante and he threw a blanket over them as the movie began.

“Oh.. I forgot to turn off the lights..” Eve said and started to get up.

“I’ll get it!” Dante said and jumped up to turn them off. It got really dark for a moment as the t.v went black also.

“Boo!” Dante said. Eve screamed and then they both laughed, Dante settling back by Eve.
