That Boy
As I close my locker I look to my right, down toward Faith’s locker to see some boy next to her. She’s smiling….laughing. I feel a twinge in my stomach. It doesn’t fade until that boy left. I shake me head, forget it I tell myself. I walk over to Faith’s locker.
“And you said the girls would be all over me,” I say jokingly.
“They are,” she replies.
“Yeah, but it looks like you’ve got your self a boy.And it seems like he likes you,” I say, chuckling.
She considers this, then says, “Yeah, I guess your right.” She smiles, “Let’s get to class.”
The day goes by fast. Of course the boy is in all of our class. And he sits next to Faith in every class. And looks at her funny, in the Wow, your hot I want to date you kind of way. For some reason I keep getting the feeling that he’s not as good as he seems. And it doesn’t help that every time I see them together that twinge in my stomach comes back.
It is the end of the day and I’m walking down to Faith’s locker to talk and who’s there? Him.
