Calming Parker
Over coffee, I asked my co-worker and friend Jason, “So you really think I should marry Jolinda?”
“Sure man,” Jason responded. “She’s pretty, her dad’s got a load of money. You’d be set for life. Plus the dating scene, do you really wanna be back in the dating pool again?”
“I.. I guess not. It’s more than just pre wedding jitters though Jason, it’s she’s obsessed over it. I just know after the wedding she’s gonna wanna have a baby. I cannot handle being a dad just now.” I said, starting to freak out.
“Dude, calm down, she’s not preggers right?”, Jason asked.
“No.. no way. At least I hope not. O God,” I said.
“Parker, dude, get a hold of yourself, man you are a trip. You need a bachelor party. That’s what you need. Is your brother throwing you one?”, Jason asked me.
“No, he’s stationed in Iraq. I doubt he will even make the wedding. Hey would you like to be my best man?”, I asked Jason.
“Sure, and not only will I be best man, but I’ll throw you the biggest badest bachelor party ever, ” Jason exclaimed.
