Dante looked so sincer. Never had a guy kissed her so meaningfully. She just had to give in.

“It’s okay, Dante. Just.. dont do it again, ok?” Eve asked, forgetting her anger.

“I promise.” Dante said and he kissed her again.

“I’d let you in.. but we were just about to go.. My brother’s in town.. and were going out to dinner.” Eve tells him.

“Penn? He’s home.. I thought he was with your father..” Dante said a lttle confused.

“He was. But he came home, says he missed us. And he is 22.” Eve’s eyes light up as she begins backing away and close the door.

Eve heard Dante whisper, ” You looked gorgeous just now Eve, with your hair and make-up all done..”

Inside, Eve rushed around to get everythinig ready. Her and her mom are estatic, not having seen Penn in 13 years.

“Where you wanna go?” Her mother asked Penn in the kitchen.

“Anywhere. My treat.” He answered. “Gosh Eve. You’ve grown!”

“13 years’ll do that to a girl.” Eve said and ran up to Penn, giving him a long hug.
