Out The Door
It has now been one week since Faith has been in the hospital and she is finally getting out. And because my teachers are morons, they decide today would be the day to pile up homework, making me unable to go see Faith, which isn’t all that good because her grandfather is with them.
I can’t tell my parents about it because Faith made me promise I wouldn’t. It works well in the beginning, but after the first three days I start getting a lot of homework and have to stop, which makes me mad.
I lay down on my bed, anxious as ever because tonight Faith’s parents are going out on an anniversary dinner and Faith is to be alone with her grandfather who she has not seen since that unfortunate event years before.
So my phone sits on my nightstand, and I’m ready for it to ring. Faith said she would call, so we could talk all night so she wouldn’t be alone. She said she would call around 7 and it was 8. I was way worried, so I grabbed my coat and walked out the door.
