Macy 23: Truth

It was Saturday and Derrick and Macy were settled in the meadow. They packed stories of Derrick’s and snacks and everything to get them through the day. Then, they started playing truth.

“Okay, so here’s how you play.” Macy began, “I ask you a question, you anser truthfully and then ask me one. And if you turn down a question, the other person has to answer one to win.”

“That’s it?” Derrick asked, munching on a chip. Macy nodded.

“Okay um what’s your favorite color?”

“Blue. Uh, what’s your favorite cereal?”

“I skip breakfast.” Macy replied.

“Why?”

“Hey, it’s my turn.”

“I’m creating a follow-up question.”

“Um you want truth?” He nodded and she whispered, “Shane wasn’t a morning person. My turn; have you ever had a girlfriend?”

Derrick was stunned about her answer, but he told her, “Only one, because my friends forced me to go out with her.”

“Oh, you don’t do that anymore, right?”

“Yes.” But he smiled, “Of course not,Macy.” And the questions continued on.
