We all gathered in the basement of the fort. There was a computer in there. I sat down immediately. I started typing frantically, using one of my downloaded programs to hack through the computer’s system.

My Battalion waited in silence as I shut down all communication outputs on the computers, set up our own line of communication with our headquarters, and set up a firewall to protect what I set up.

“Okay, I’m finished.” I said, standing up. “Two of you stay here and hold down fort while the rest of us take control of the next base.”

I assigned the two and ordered the rest of us to move out.

Mark and I were standing on top of the fort, We scoped out too many enemies. If the whole battalion went together, they would get killed. If I went in there…..

“I’m going alone.” I said.
