Just In Time
Danielle let out a sigh of relief. For the time being they seemed to be out of harms way. She looked ahead, then realized that the car drifted on to the shoulder. The bright lights she saw was from cars coming from the opposite direction. It hits her, they almost had a head on collision with a car from the other lane!. It appears that he had fallen asleep behind the wheel.
Now that she got the car safely on the shoulder she put the car in park, and turned off the engine. She got out of the car and went to the drivers side of the car. She opened the door and looked at him face to face. She released the seatbelt, hoping that the movement would wake him.
“Martin!!” She said loudly.. His eyes fluttered a few seconds and he finally moved. “Yeeahh?” He said in a startled tone. Get in the passenger seat, you fell asleep behind the wheel. We almost had an accident. I need to get us to a hotel. He got up and she took the drivers seat. She turned the car back on and drove off. She drove to the closest hotel.
