I slid the pieces of lifeless body mass into a corner, and waited for the rest to come down.

Three of them came down this time. It wasn’t going to be that easy this time. I stepped out of the shadows, just long enough for them to see me.

Before they could even fire a shot, I had already decapitated one guy, shot the other, and disarmed the last one and got him on the ground. Being quicker on the draw and having superhuman speed really pays off.

Kill #2, Kill #3

I stood on the last guy’s chest. He saw the look of fear in his eyes. I had scared him out of yelling for help. I balanced my barrel between his eyes, and squeezed the trigger.

I had alerted the rest of the soldiers here, but the base was as good as captured.

Before the rest of them got down, I radioed my battalion. “Base captured, move out.“
