its Dark rich with imagery.. I like how you described everything. I could see the kitchen you so carefully illustrated. I could almost see the contents of the fridge itself. I wish there was a way to prove the light does go off.. excellent one of your best!!
Very nice. You picked one of the most interesting ficleteers, in my opinion, and did a day in the life in same tone and style of the author. I like the Poe and Twin Peaks references, very apropos.
Definitely appropriately heavy with a couple of nods to his infamous series. Accurate or not, you’ve created one heck of an amusing character, or perhaps a charicature. Even aside from the challenge, it could be a stand-alone ficlet. LoA
I love the imagination aspect. This is a classy write up of throatwolf. I appreciate how your story brims with respect without boiling over—almost subtle until it hits you that this entire ficlet is one of the greatest compliments a writer could ever hope for.
This was a nice approach to the author’s persona. I really think you captured him/her (can’t assume) really well, even if they might not live in such seclusion in real life. =) Very nice, thought-out ficlet about an author that delivers such weird but oddly irresistible ficlets.
