An unexpected success

I’d been mulling it over in my head all day.
should I? Is it too early? What if…
What if what? Nothing could go wrong. It’s not like she’d flip out and slap me or anything. But still it released butterflies in my chest, and they fluttered there all throughout 7th period.

The bell rang, and I waited outside the classroom for her since the buses were only a short walk from here. I spotted her walking down the hallway, with her blonde hair in a neat pony tail. I caught her eyes and she smiled.
“Hey” she said, still smiling sweetly.
“Hey, how was your day?” I asked as i held her hand and we began to walk.
“Ugh, it was tiring..” she laid her head on my shoulder softly as we kept walking.
We eventually made it to my bus, and we stopped to hug as usual.
She sighed in my arms, “You give good hugs.”
I smiled, “Wanna see if i can give good kisses?”
She smiled and gave me a small peck on the lips, “see you later.”
“bye…”
The first kisses are always the ones that set my heart aflame…
