"I promise you that."
For the second time, Eve awoke in Dante’s arms. She looked up at him and smiled, the memory of what they had shared last night was forever burned in her brain.
“Good morning.” He said kissing her lips lightly.
“Yes it is.” She said.
“Eve..” Dante said with a troubled look on his face, as if he was struggling with something.
“Hmm?” Eve said, resting her head back on his muscular chest.
“I am so very grateful you let me explain last night. You are so understanding.. I thought for sure I had lost you forever… And if I had.. I don’t what I would have done..” Dante whispered, absentmindedly running his hands through her hair. “Becuse I never want to lose you, Evelyn.”
Eve rolled over and she kissed him quickly but still passionalty. “I will always love you.. Be it a curse or a blessing.. Painful or blissful.. You will never lose me, Dante.. I promise you that.”
He smiled at her and she returned it, rolling back to lay in his arms and her head on his chest.
