I am Ceirra
I nearly gag when I see Jesse’s Solara in front of the restaurant. I mean god, what kind of moron gets his son a fricken brand new convertible for his fricken 16th birthday? It’s ridiculous. Every time I see it I want to throw up it disgusts me so much. But I also want to gag because this means he was also at this restaurant. Fantastic.
I glower as Shyam and I walk through the front door.
I see Jesse and his group being seated at a table not far away. Anima, always the kind one, smiles when she sees me and waves. Jesse also smiles in his crooked way when he sees me.
As the waitress leads us right by their table Anima, apparently unable to hold herself back in her present state of excitment, says, “Hey Ceirra! Hi Shyam!”
Shyam stops, apparently shocked at this upbeat hello. Jesse grins and turns to Jira, explaining, “They go to our school. Ceirra, Shyam, this is Jira. She’s Jake’s cousin from Florida.”
Shyam, for some unfathomable reason, is suddenly interested, and actually talks to them, “Florida?”
