This is great. I like the fact that we have no idea what, exactly, was said but that it was extremely powerful. (And, that the speaker noticed the hole in the target’s shoes. I don’t know why that struck me as an important detail.)

Very intense and I’m with Jenunique, I love that we don’t know what was said, but we know the devastating affects, nevertheless. A great ficlet, because it’s so powerful and has the ability to be affectively prequeled or sequeled.
