Kind of eerie in a stalker way, yet sincere in that the person is clean and apologetic. I mean there are many levels of love….not just the stalker crazy kind….it could be wistful love….I hope. :)

I think Elsha hit it on the head. It’s that double-tragedy of time wasted on drugs and opportunities missed. Now the apologizer wants the other person back, but at least on some level realizes he doesn’t deserve that second chance. Nicely done.

Yep, I agree with Elsha. It’s sincere all right, but in a creepy way. Like if you were hearing this spoken aloud to you from the guy, you’d say, “Thanks … I think.”
