Very romantic, and very high school. It was definitely a fun take on the challenge, adding a good amount of story to the whole thing.

I loved the fact that you have here the possiblility for magic. I like the image of band. One of my best friends is a horn player. I like that he plays the cello, too. That has an inexplicable lullaby, dreamy effect to it. Nicely done indeed.

Yes, dreamy and fun, also romantic and cute. The last line, last word, cursed, puts a different vibe on the whole thing. A sour note, if you will. :)

I loved this. Many of my AP English students (I teach high school) are in band, so I’ve developed a soft spot for “band babies.” I especially liked how innocent this felt, up until that last ominous sentence. Well done!
