She Knew the Truth 2
Her name was Samantha. Just Samantha. In class, she would sit way back in the corner of the classroom. Hiding her face with her long, long brown hair. I always thought she was mental and couldn’t understand a word anyone said but boy was I wrong.
The first Monday of March was when it all started. I was walking down the hallway with my best friend Denise. She had short, curly brown hair and loads of friends. That’s when I told her. I told her that the girl named Samantha was a lunatic or something. Then, when the bell rang. Everyone scooted off to class and as I walked down the hallway, there she was. Standing in the corner. Her face hot with anger. Her eyes wet with pain. Her fists were curled up into what somewhat looked like a fist for all I knew.
“What did you say about me?” she asked angrily. This was the first time I had ever heard her use real words.
“Nothing,” I said, lying.
“If I ever hear you say something about me again I’ll kick your butt,” she said getting cut off by someone…...............
