There was Nick standing in the doorway. He was starring at me with his big, brown eyes, just like mine! He looked so handsome! Nick came over and sat down to my left.
“Hi, I’m Nick,” he said in a small voice. I smiled.
“Hi,” I said.
Dinner was great, but, that wasn’t what I enjoyed the most. They had a huge pool in the back and asked me if I wanted to swim. I said yes and left to get my bathing suit next door. When, I came back, Joe and Kevin were in the pool already but Nick was waiting for me. I guess he was shy around girls because he had to wear a swim shirt. He looked great, though. I was wearing my bikini and was surprised when Nick was starring over at me again. Did he like me? I jumped in the pool and Kevin started clapping.
“That was a great dive!” he said. Joe agreed and Nick gave me a high five. I felt as if I would never wash that hand again. I knew I was in love!
