Great POV on here. The confused reactions to the first A-Bomb dropped are haunting. And the fact that you titled this piece with the date of the bombing evokes 9/11 for me.

It was certainly a singular event in human history, still debated today.

Wow, I think it is great how you make the first one to notice a problem be a control operator, but I am confused about what the control operator’s job is.

I agree with OT,OC. This really peaked my interest. I’ve always known the basics of this, but now I feel intrigued to learn a bit more.
