Later, it was lunch and I went outside and walked around in the courtyard, waiting for the bell to ring so I can get this day over with. The whole day was nothing but people asking me where I have been yesterday.
I kept walking around and saw Brandi and the Golden Child. Brandi looked over and yelled, “Hey Ryan!!” She and Emily ran toward me and Brandi asked, “Where were you yesterday!?”
“Would everyone stop asking me that!?!”
“Chill, I was just wondering. You had me and Emily worried.” Brandi said.
“Let’s just say, I hate my parents.” I said and turned away. When I did, I just had to see Ashley.
She had a worried look on her face and she hugged me. She didn’t let go until she asked me, “Where were you…”
I sighed and said, “I really don’t want to talk about it.” I was about to walk away but Ashley stopped me and showed me her wrists. I got scared right now. She had several cuts. I started to get scared.
“Ryan, I was worried sick…” She said in a sad voice and had tears going down her face.
Why did I run?
