My Turn for Love
My Turn for Love
I like you
But I hate you
But if you asked me
Would I date you?
Your hair as blond as the sand
You’re eyes as blue as the sea
I stare at you all the time
But do you notice me?
Sometimes I could care less
Sometimes I could care more
Sometimes I think you like me
And that is for sure
But over the last few days
I have really done some thinking
You’re not really a great guy
Your good reputation is sinking
You lie and you tease
And you think you’re just so great
But to tell the honest truth
We do not appreciate
All the things you have done
To try and bring us down
We may joke around
But you are seriously the clown
I’ll find that right guy
Who has a good heart
And who has been truthful
From the end back to the start
He’ll laugh at my jokes
Even if their lame
And stare at me like I do at him
Our brown eyes just the same
So, I’ll wait my turn
To find you, someday
And I have forgot about the other guy
What about him, anyway?
