I meet Nick after school that day and he had made up his mind. Miley wasn’t worth it. I was glad. Well, not just because I could have a chance with the boy of my dreams, but also, I didn’t want Nick to get hurt.
It was Wednesday night and I finally felt great! Joe and I had made up for everything but things started to get weird between us. He’d pull Nick away from me when we would hang out, and, he barely would even talk to me. Just a “Hi” and a “Bye” was usually it. But, things would get better.
My shows were on again and Nick came over to watch them with me. We liked all the same things. But then, the doorbell rang.
“Hold on,” I said as I got up to answer the door. It was Michelle.
“Hi,” she said. I could see tears rolling down her cheeks.
“What’s wrong?”
“Come here,”. I told Nick I would be right back as Michelle pulled me into the kitchen.
“What’s up?”
“Well…”.
“What?”
“KEVIN BROKE UP WITH ME !!!” Wow. Just as soon as things got better for me, they had to get worse for her.
