“I’m here! Where’s Joe? Where is he? He’s mine!” said Katie as she scrambled through the front door.
“He’s coming, relax!”
“Sorry…anyway, did you find where Nick went?”
“Well, I heard him talking to Joe next door,”.
“What? Where’s Joe?” Katie loved Joe too much. And I, loved Nick too much. So, he felt the same way about me, but, he would probably change his mind by tomorrow. No boy was ever in love with me. Never. Well, only once in the second grade but it was a kid who picked his nose. Long story short. Then, the door bell rang.
“Oh my gosh!” I opened the door and Crash. Katie fainted and fell on the floor before Joe even said a word to her. Great.
“Is that Katie?”
“That was Katie,”. Joe laughed and told me he wanted to ask me something. He sat me down.
“Well….,”. Then there was a bang on the window. Joe, was right there so it wasn’t him this time. The door opened and it was Nick.
“Hi,” he said. I smiled.
“Where were you all day?”
