John Marx was a brilliant young doctor who was fresh out of college. He had opened up his own office and business was booming. He must have inherited his impeccable business skills from his father, Victor, the owner of Marx Technologies Incorporated. John was like his father in many ways. They were both very intelligent and had a knack for getting what they wanted. But, John’s millionaire father was a very keen and shrewd businessman and was beginning to lose customers.

No one knows exactly what happened to Victor, but soon after his company started to lose money, he was found dead in the bedroom of his enormous mansion. John, of course, was devastated at the loss of his father. However, those around him seemed rather glad that the millionaire capitalist had died. John was an only child, and his mother had died several years before, so he knew that he would be heir to his father’s fortune and estate. This also meant that he would have to take over as Marx Technologies’ new owner.
