Helping You find Me 2

“You and A.J. have been talking a lot lately,” said Molly as we walked home from school.
“We’re friends, I guess,” I said. Unsure of what to say.
“You like him!”
“No way!”
“Okay, just testing you!” Molly always was, well, just Molly. “I wish I could be friends with him, too,” she said, gazing up towards the sky. I wondered if she liked him. I wasn’t going to ask her if she wanted to go out with him, though. It was too early.
The next day at school , A.J. started to bug me. He was being too nice.
“Hello! How was your morning? What did you have for breakfast? I like your shirt! Where did you get it? You can use my markers if you want to!” I guess he really liked Molly.
“No I didn’t ask her A.J.!” I said.
“Good, I left my markers at home. Good thing,” he said. He was a weirdo. But my weirdo.
“So far, she said she wants to be friends with you, though!” I said. Hoping it would be good enough, for now.
“Cool,” said A.J. He gazed up at the ceiling and sighed.
“Do you wanna use my crayons?”
