Can’t an old mime get a little respect?

This is my favourite of these stories thus far – the mixture of pathos and humour was superb

Aww…a sort of guilty pleasure by laughing. Feel sad for the mime but – he’s a mime.=)

It made me feel sorry for the poor guy.

Would you believe me if I told you that this ficlet was inspired by an episode of American Chopper.
And I don’t think the boy is laughing at the mime per se. Just that he got the mime to do something real and something as mundane as tying the shoelaces at that.

I’m with Pyro: I saw a boy not laughing at the mime but happy at his success in “speaking” mime.

At 5 (or so), that’s a great accomplishment.

Now you reallty have me chuckling – I saw that episode of A_C, and comparing Mikey to a 5 year old is dead-on
