Me and JB 41
“Well, at least the interview is over,” I said to Nick. We were hanging out in my backyard.
“Maybe we should go inside, the sky looks pretty dark,” Nick said. We were expected to get rain for the next two days. It didn’t bother me.
“Nah, not yet!” Rain always cleared my head. Some people hated being stuck inside because of rain but not me. It was calming. The screen door slid open. It was Joey.
“Hey guys!” he said. “Is it safe to come out?”
“What?” said Nick and I in unison.
“Are you guys being all kissy kissy goo goo?” Joey was my little brother. Eight years old and quite annoying.
“What do you want?” I asked. I was annoyed.
“I want you to meet someone!” Joey clapped his hands and I heard some barking.
“W-what is t-that?” asked Nick.
“Come here boy!” Then, came out a huge dog. When I say huge I don’t just mean huge I mean HUGE . Nick jumped up and screamed. He ducked behind me.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“BIG DOG !” yelped Nick. I learned he was afraid of big dogs. Joey was hysterical laughing.
