All I See

Compared to me, Tyler was tall and I was just noticing this. I had never been this close to him ever in my life apart from in English class when all I see is the back of his head.
“You’re in my English class,” he pointed out although I took thankful note of this fact everyday.
“Yeah,” I managed to reply yet I was surprised and ecstatic that he knew I existed.
“I’m Tyler,” he introduced himself.
“I know,” I said stupidly catching myself after I’d said it, “I mean, I’m Callie.”
“I know,” he replied.
That made me blush with excitement and grin with happiness. He knew my name!
“Here you go,” he handed me the rest of my books.
“Thanks.”
“And sorry for crashing into you like that.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it!” I shook it off as if it were nothing even though I had just made physical yet accidental contact with the guy of my dreams.
“I’ll see you around,” Tyler said.
“Yeah,” I replied completely dumbfounded.
As he walked away, everything else just disappeared. He was the only thing I saw.
