The sun’s gaze faded away as another’s gaze came. Creatures of the night rose from the darkness, while creatues of light bide farewell to the world. All was quiet in the lone-standing cabin as shadows looked on toward the waning sunlight.

Trees disappeared and lullabies hushed. Barriers were withdrawn as if by magic, leaving only two, small shadows behind.

The shadow’s light grew dim as night approached. Closer and closer the shadow’s light became, until they almost touched.

“I love you,” whispered Dan into the shadow’s ear, edging closer and closer…

“I love you, too” whispered Jessie as she neared Dan….

The sun set and darkness arrived. Two shadows became one, rejoicing as they began to drift into their unique song. To dance as one to the melody of the creatures of the night.
