wait I just read this series from the beginning of this one. I have a couple questions:
who is drew? is he from another series?
who is cynthia?
and why is drew in so much pain?

Yes, Drew and Cynthia are both from another series, called the ‘Just a Little’ series. I just finished it, huzzah! lol. Anyway, if you want to read that, you can find the first ficlet if you copy and paste this link: http://ficlets.com/stories/23458
Drew’s pain is sort of explained in the next ficlet. Warning: it spoils the ending of ‘Just A Little’ so if you plane on reading the ‘Just a Little’ I’d do that first.

The music that stomps out those silent alone times (and really all other times) is palpable. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. A beloved student of mine died last year and it was so painful to watch his friends try to cope. I can only hope I helped them in some way.
