Me and JB 75

“Okay everyone!” said Nick into the microphone.
“Today, we have someone special preforming with us,” he said.
“Our best friend Jessica!” said Joe. The crowd cheered. Oh dear god. This was an S.O.S. I got the signal to walk out onto the stage and I took slow steps until I was next to Nick.
“It’ll be okay,” he whispered. The crowd was still cheering. I took deep breaths like Kevin said to. Then, I got the signal to start playing. I tried to remember the notes. I remembered. To start off it was B, F, E. I strummed the guitar hoping I wasn’t going to break a string.
“_We don’t have time left to regret,” sang Joe. I wasn’t feeling so nervous anymore. Playing the guitar was easy, now that I re-learned it. And singing back-up vocals wasn’t hard at all.
I took another deep breath and started to sing.
“_Cause’ an empty room can be so loud, It’s too many tears to drown them out, So hold on,”. I was getting the hang of it. This was actually fun. The cheers were like music to my ears. The crowd actually liked me.
