Ditto. You’d never see “gr8” or “lol” in a book. And of course the grammar and spelling would be fine too. I’m OK with chat speak for comments, but once it’s in the stories it’s gone too far for me!

I’m with Ruin. I’m doing my best to write good stories, so I hope that I don’t become a ficleteer’s worst nightmare. I try my best on my grammar and spelling, even in the comments usually. But other than that, I agree wholeheartedly. I try my best to make my sequels relate. And I am SO very thrilled to have somebody just come right out and say it.
