It's Gone
I see you standing there. Looking as casual as can be. Yeah, I noticed you but have you noticed me? I look at the clock and see that I have some time. And I make my way over. The closer I get, the weaker I feel. My legs turn to jelly as I inch closer. My heart beats faster. When I finally reach you, I realize. Your not there anymore. Time’s up. It’s over. It’s gone.
I see you the next day, wondering around. Not making a sound. Your by yourself. I decide to give you some company so I make my way over. I have some time and plenty of it. The whole world starts to shake as I inch closer. My heart begins to melt. There’s nothing left of me when I reach you. And there’s no more of you, either. Your gone. Time’s up. It’s over. It’s gone.
It seems you disappear each time I need you near. Is it me? Is it you? What am I supposed to do? Do I take to much time? Are you avoiding me?
I see you today. I try to make my way. But I can’t. I need you, your there. But why can’t I reach you? Time’s up. It’s over. It’s gone.
