The Dove of Steel (27)

“Judge Sulkoske, are you sure this is what the Arcadian Council meant by investigate subtly?” the young Arcadian soldier asked, clad in the basic armor of soldiers.

Judge Sulkoske merely laughed said,

“My dear soldier, how else do you think we are going to get past Timeria’s borders? All land routes are cut off, and patrolled day and night by the elite soldiers of Timeria. What other way is there inside other than from airship?”

The Judge let out a hearty laugh, one the entire crew of the airship could hear. Made of dull gray metal tinted by black scorch marks from previous conflicts, the airship was large enough to store an entire battalion of soldiers, with at least 3 stories, one of which was use for pure storage.

It was nigh impregnable. Only a group of red dragons with a suicide wish would dare bring down one of the three airships left in the entire region, maybe the continent. It was an impressive sight. Or so thought Linda and Isaac as the stumbled their way into the bridge of the perfect airship.
