I am Jesse

I watched her lean back beside me, staring up at the night sky. I twisted slightly, holding her face and kissing her softly, “Is it too early to say that I love you?” I asked quietly, my face still inches… no, centimeters from hers.
She shook her head infinitesimally, “You said so yesterday. Have you changed your mind since then?”
I chuckled, “I’m pretty sure I haven’t.”
“Only pretty sure?” She checked playfully.
“Positive,” I whispered, pressing myself into her again.
My tongue slid through her lips easily as I pressed her down into the warm blanket, breathing her in and wrapping myself around her. Slowly, I moved my lips down from her mouth to her throat and collarbone before making it back up to her mouth again. She was breathless, almost gasping as I traced her lips with my tongue, her fingers tangled in my hair. I put my ear against her chest listening for the speeding heartbeat I knew I’d find. We lay for a moment as Ceirra’s breaths slowed again, under the dark night sky.
