Good Days Curdle (THX's Number Challenge)

Amy woke up, feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world, no matter what it threw at her!

She jumped out of bed, and put on her uniform. Yes, nothing was going to bring her down today! Because, today was an important day.

It was the seventh day of the seventh month, and seven in the morning, and it was always her lucky day.

Ah, yes, her good mood would not be spoiled today!

That idea was quickly lost when her co – worker, Sally, spilled coffee all over her uniform, a dumpster truck nearly ran her over when she was on lunch break, her boss was in a really crabby mood, and not to mention the chipmunks throwing nuts at her incessantly when she was outside!

Exhausted, Amy flopped down on her couch, taking a deep breath and exhaling, trying to dispel the memory of the horrible day she just had.

Well, things can’t get any worse, can they? she thought. Ironically, just like in the movies, something inevitably DID happen to make it worse.

The doorbell rang, and Amy ran to get it.

“Oh…hi, Mom.”
