Powers of Observation
“Mr and Mrs Timmet, I’m afraid your son’s tests came back positive.” The couple opposite the man in the white coat hugged each other tighter. “It’s probably the worst case I’ve seen.”
“What exactly is wrong with Timmy, Dr. Klimt?” Asked the mother.
“Well, he’s convinced he’s got the power of telekinesis, when he thinks no one’s looking he breaks stuff and then claims it was powers that he can’t control. We caught him on video, there were no powers but he sure did cause some damage.”
“He’s been doing that at home as well. What’s the plan of action from here on in?”
“I’m going to have to keep him here 24/7, monitor him constantly, study blood samples. I can’t promise a cure but I can promise I’ll try, it’ll be best if you don’t see him for a month at least, it’ll make it easier to progress with him.”
“Thank you Doctor, we’ll call you.” The mother started crying as the father led her out of the office. The doctor waved a hand at the door and it swung shut, the lock clicking into place.
