Heroines always face things alone, duh! It would be smarter to have Mom there, protecting her, but less suspenseful. :)

I like the defiant, almost stoic stance of going to see her fate alone…very dramatic.

Awesome little play of event now…except the last sentence should be “she would have to.” Nit picking. I know.

I like the first line! Imagine shaking some sense into a wonderball, now that would be interesting….

Hmm. This is the kind of silly thing people love to do in horror movies. “No, I’ll be all right.” Then a shadow moves and everything is not all right. I’ve always liked the sound of, “No, I’ll be all right, but let me borrow your pistol.”
