“Yes, Mad Hatter. Cheshire Cat reporting.”

“Let the Caterpillar know he has four on the way.”

Cheshire Cat sat there for a moment, looking intently at all the video screens. He knew they all monitored the air when a target was loose. Caterpillar already knew they were on the way.

“Cheshire Cat?”

“I copy, Mad Hatter,” he might have answered a bit snappy.

“Mad Hatter, out.”

Cheshire Cat rolled his eyes.

Meanwhile, the four were making their way through the brightly lit hallway. “I have to find shoes,” Jessica grumbled.

They paused , looking up and down the hall. One way led back to the shop, further on lead to what may be the main mall, there were closed doors scattered on either side.

Alex pointed, “There’s one that’s open.” Just ten steps further, on the left, one door stood slightly ajar.

“What do you guys think?” Amanda asked, raising an eyebrow.

Becky wrinkled her nose, “Sign says Janitor Breakroom.”

Jessica pulled the door open and peeked in, “It’s empty. Perfect.”
