“You can get a permit to do just about anything if you know how to word your request,” said Samantha Sinclair to her neighbor in reference to their other neighbors Monkey Zoo in the back yard adjacent to both their houses.

“I think it’s all in who you know,” said the neighbor, Mrs. McGilligan.

“Oh that’s right, her brother -in-law is the mayor. Hmm, You know what I’d like in my yard?”, Samantha said.

“No, what do you want in your yard, Samantha?”, Mrs. McGilligan responded.

“I’d like a Moat. With a draw-bridge, and alligators, no crocodiles swimming in it, you know for protection,” Samantha said.

“Protection from what?,” asked Mrs. McGilligan.

“Why from Monkeys’ of course,” said Samantha matter of factly.

“Well, I think I will seek a permit to have wild reptiles and primates banned from this community,” said Mrs. McGilligan as she shut and locked the door behind her.
