“STUDENTS!â? The teacher declared dramatically, drawing the eyes and ears of those who had not been paying full attention. His voice was like a bear choking on a full sized chicken, but higher pitched. A true guttural noise, all throat and phlegm.
“Welcome to Junior Year Introduction to Science, mandatory course, I imagine you are all in the right place?â? He paused for a little longer than necessary, a few people fidgeted in their seats but no one made for the door.
“GOOD!â? He yelped and spun about, he pulled a stylus from a pocket and deftly wrote his name on the display board in ridiculously large print.

“I am Dr. Warwhitz, formerly Professor Warwhitz, you can call me Dr. W, or Doc War, it you prefer. I don’t care.â? Alex giggled and mouthed ‘Doc War’ to no one in particular. The teacher gave him a strange little look before turning back to the board and writing the days date and the name of the class in the top right corner of the paper thin display.
