The teacher didn’t arrive until milliseconds before the lesson was supposed to start. He entered calmly and then in a flurry of movement he tossed his brown briefcase and corduroy jacket on the top of the lab area at the front of the class room and threw a paper cup with the ‘Gentrax Coffee Shoppe’ logo emblazoned on the side of it into the trash. He pulled a lab coat out of a drawer, slid it on and then turned to look at all the students who were all looking back at him.

What the students saw was an overweight middle aged man with a beard of epic proportions. His eyes were magnified by incredibly thick spectacles, making him look like a caricature of a normal person. His hair was combed over and he wore gray slacks and a white shirt under his lab coat. His mouth was slightly twisted into a sneer.

What the teacher saw was a collection of gawking faces, one of which was beaming stupidly at him, ignorance clouding all of them.

A mass of moronic minds to be mentored and molded, he thought happily, smiling.
