Eric didn’t talk to me anymore. Great. Now I have no friends.
I kept telling him I was really sorry, but he didn’t listen. I had a huge crush on his brother, but I didn’t want to hurt his feelings by asking Gregg out.
Finally I decided I had to do something. Gregg was all I thought about. After school when Eric was at band practice, I went up to their house. I knocked on the door and peeked through the window. I saw Gregg, hugging a girl. I saw him give her a quick kiss then come to answer the door.
As always, tears filled my eyes. Then Gregg answered the door. There I was, on his doorstep with tears in my eyes, looking like an idiot.
“Hey Jac, whats up?”
Omg, he called me “Jac!’”
“Oh, well, I, its just, uh…
I saw the girl Gegg kissed on the couch, in Greggs jacket.
“Gregg, who is this?”
“Its my friend Jaqueline.”
That was it, I ran away. Again, I guy I really liked didn’t like me. I was begining to thing there was no such thing as true love.
