This is actually pretty deep. I like the stream-of-consciousness feel to it. Your last few ficlets seem to be incredibly autobiographical. Not sure if you’re playing a character, or if it’s real, but it certainly feels like you’re speaking from the heart.
I enjoyed this quite a bit.

I think at least five Broadway musicals ought to do it, oh and maybe a tragi-romance or two. ;-)
