Charlie just stared after her. The realization he lost her wrenched his face in agony, which quickly turned to anger. I went to go give Tom a hug. I did not want to be near Charlie if he got really mad.
When I got there, I made sure Thomas and I were really close to Amanda and Nick J, so I could hear how Amanda would get him back. He still loves her, and Amanda tends to always win, so I don’t think it will be too hard, but I wanted to witness it for myself.
“Nick,” Amanda began, “I realized just now how much I really do love you. Charlie is really hot, but you are more than that. You are sexy, super sweet, sensitive, talented, and.. and, I love you.” Nick pulled her close. “I want my forever, Nick, and I just realized that it’s you.” Amanda wrapped her thin arms around his waist and put her head on his shoulder.
“I love you too, Mandy, and I don’t want to let you go..” He whispered, barely audible to me, “But my heart is only so strong. I can’t deal with it if you leave me again.”
Then Charlie walked over
