Hey Me, It's You: Part 1
“What ever you want, pick it out. You just can’t go crazy with texting. Be back in an hour,” said mom. We were at, well, some place I didn’t know the name of. Well, I was looking for a new cell phone. The day I had been waiting for. Hi, my name’s Lily. I’m in eighth grade and have the perfect life. Perfect!
I strolled up and down the counter, stopping and looking at each phone that caught my eye. This was going to be a hard decision. I didn’t want my old side kick anymore, it was way out of date. A few months or so. Ew. Really old. Then, a salesman came out from the back. He had a smile on his face. The kind of sneaky smile. The smile that he knew something that I didn’t. The kind of smile that I hated. My pet peeve.
“Hello,” he said with a squeaky voice.
“Hi,” I said quickly walking away.
“Need any help, sweet cheeks?” Wacko stranger guy say what?
“No, I’m okay,”.
“We just got a new phone in, would you like see?” he said. I nodded.
“Okay, one moment darling….”. Weirdest day of my life. Really.
