Anna couldn’t tell if her heart was beating so fast she couldn’t hear it, or if it had stopped completely. She could just feel her cheeks turning red. A smile that started small, spread wildy across her face. Jack leaned back, only a little, to look at Anna and he laughed when he saw her hands covering her face in an attempt to hide her blushing. He layed his head lightly on hers. Anna turned slightly, and stared at his neck for a few seconds, then she leaned in and kissed it gently. She burrowed her head in his shoulder.
“Anna?”
“Hmm?” When Jack didn’t say anything, she looked up. Jack had his half smile slowly turning into a wide grin.
“You’re reallly likeable.”
Anna smiled and closed her eyes as he kissed her cheek. Again she had no clue what her heart was doing, but whatever it was, she liked it. Anna felt like she had finally found..happiness. She felt their fingers intertwine as her hand and his rested together in his lap. Anna layed her head back down on his shoulder, finally in peace.
