Smith
The long chat with Father was over. Spike hated talking to him. Dad seemed to hate seeing him. Spike stormed out of the house. Jen shook her head as he sped out of the driveway. His conversations pissed Spike off more than anything. Spike drove back to his house and kicked the door open to his room. Not surprised to see Smith sitting at the poker table. “Hey buddy.” Smith said. Spike put his hands on his head and screamed. “Oh, you spoke to your dad.” He added smiling. “Get out.” Spike said falling on the bed, pointing to the door. “I don’t see why your father cannot accept you as a wolf and get on with his life.” Smith said not moving. “Your dad’s the head of our pack, you wouldn’t understand.” Spike said groaning. “What does he see in you?” Smith asked. “A monster who goes around eating babies.” He replied. Smith chuckled, “you and I both know that’s too soft for you.” Spike smiled. “C’mon, we got practice.” Smith got up, grabbed his bass and headed out the door. Spike waited before he got up and followed.
